Lodge Farm Classic Italian Wedding: Natalie + Davide

December 14, 2015  •  1 Comment

When I fist met Natalie and Davide, I asked them what kind of day they were going to have for their wedding day. They replied with, well we don't have a theme but its going to be very us.

This wedding has to be one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen and the day really shows who Natalie and Davide are as a couple. These two really are full of love and devotion not only to each other but to everyone around them and it really does show in all the photos I took. Not to mention that they are a stunning couple, they could easily grace the covers of any magazine!

The day started out in Natalie's parents house where she readied herself alongside her 6 bridesmaids and two little flower girls. Even her baby nephew George joined the party for some photos! Natalie chose the most stunning, classically simple dress that fit her like a glove, plus a dreamy long veil! I was in heaven!
The ceremony took place at the stunning St Joseph's Church in Luton which looks totally deceiving from the outside! Inside its a beautiful pastel haven with high ceilings and gorgeous lighting. The pair opted for a traditional italian catholic ceremony including mass. One of my fave moments was when the entire bridal party joined them on stage for the exchanging of rings, it felt so intimate even in a large church!

The reception was held at Lodge Farm in Kings Walden, a cute little B&B tucked away on a farm. I really love this venue, you can dress it exactly how you like and make it whatever you want for your day. Natalie and Davide hired a marquee which was set up on in the gardens behind the house and decked out for their wedding breakfast. There were photos of the couple and their family and friends everywhere, including some lovely decorations and details throughout the marquee. Giant LOVE lights shone on the checkerboard dance floor and vintage bunting lined the walls. The cake was a gorgeous blue and blush tiered number with a cute china cake topper of two people hugging (aww!).

The newlyweds absolutely rocked their bride and groom portraits before rocking out to Years & Years on the dancefloor later on. Once the first dance was over, the party exploded as the band kicked in. Literally everyone in the room flocked to the dance floor and from what I hear, never left! What a party guys, I had so much fun capturing your day!
